Crystal Reports Runtime 64-bit doesn't work in 64-bit operating system
I have an desktop application developed in Visual Studio 2010.Its setup includes Crystal Report Runtime v13.0.5 to print reports. The setup is created for Target Platform as x86 so that it will run on both 32 & 64 bit systems. If I install setup in a 32 bit system, everything runs fine. As I install the setup in a 64-bit system, it detects the system and installs Crystal Report Runtime for 64-bit system, but the crystal reports gives error while running. If I manually install 32-bit Crystal Reports Runtime on that 64-bit system, it works fine. Why is this happening? Isn't the 64-bit Crystal Report Runtime should work fine on 64-bit system. What is the solution for this? I don't want to tell my clients to install 32-bit Crystal Report Runtime manually on their 64-bit system, everytime. I already searched for proper solution for it. But no success. Please Help.
