Does AVAssetWriterInputPixelBufferAdaptor have a global maximum of 3 instances?
For reasons specific to our project, I am having the need to use, four (4) instances of AVAssetWriterInputPixelBufferAdaptor. It turns out that all my attempts to do it failed. All my tests seem to point in the direction that the amount of AVAssetWriterInputPixelBufferAdaptor instances in use, globally capped to three (3). This is irrespective of the bufferSize, which can be made either very large or very small. This is also irrespective of whether they are all added to the same AVAssetWriter or to different ones. With four (4) instances, it always fails, as soon as I call AVAssetWriter.startWriting(). Can anybody confirm this for me please. Did I do something wrong? I find this very odd. I would not find it as odd, (although still odd), if the maximum number of instances depended on the size of the buffers, for that it could be a way to prevent over memory consumption.
