keybinding to interchange keyboard language
I'm using org-mode(emacs2.4) to aid in my language studies, and I'd like to use specific keyboard modes, to take some of my notes. Since I'm studying Japanese, I need to change back and forth to use the symbols from the japanese alphabet, and our roman letters. I know a function/command : M-x set-input-method target language And I've tried to create a keybind like this : (global-set-key(kbd "C-x C-j")'set-input-method japanese) But, it doesn't work, and I got this error : Symbol's value variable is void : Japanese I'm just a beginner, so I don't know really well how to interpret this error. In my readings, I've got something about the libraries, but I couldn't figure out the problem/resolution. Anyone can give me a direction ?
